Who this is for
You already hold an Ausbildung, Meisterbrief, or substantial Berufserfahrung in a skilled trade or technical vocation. Something has shifted: physical limits, a plant closure, a wish to leave Schichtarbeit, or a move into a neighbouring Beruf. You need a plan that respects how German employers actually hire in the Gewerbe — not a generic career quiz.
What you leave with
- A written transition plan naming target roles, realistic employers or Betrieb types, and certificate gaps that matter
- A sequenced timeline covering notice periods, application waves, and any Umschulung or Weiterbildung worth funding
- Clarity on what to stop pursuing so you do not scatter effort across unrelated job ads
What is included
The consultation opens with a review of your certificates and recent work history. We discuss constraints you cannot negotiate away — region, shift patterns, physical demands, language for customer-facing roles. Together we shortlist two or three viable pathways and stress-test them against local labour demand in Sachsen-Anhalt and wider Germany. After the session you receive a concise written plan by email.
What is not included
We do not write your Anschreiben for you in this session (see Trades Application Coaching), lodge Anerkennung applications on your behalf, or guarantee a job placement. We also do not provide legal advice on Kündigungsschutz or Arbeitsrecht.
Process
- You send certificates and a short note on why you want to move (before the call).
- We meet for about 90 minutes.
- Within five business days you receive the written plan and a short list of recommended next actions.
- Optional follow-up calls can be booked separately if you need to adjust the plan after first applications.
Preparation
Have PDFs or clear photos of your Abschlusszeugnis, Arbeitszeugnisse, and any Weiterbildung ready. Be ready to say which towns or regions you can realistically work from. If an employer has already offered something informal, bring that detail — it changes the advice.
